Gravity pulls these materials together, and as they collapse under their own weight, they form a protostar.
Over millions of years, this protostar gains mass and temperature until nuclear fusion ignites in its core, giving birth to a star.
I am a testament to the life cycle of stars.
Like all living things, stars are born, evolve, and eventually die.
My explosion marks the end of one star’s life but also the beginning of new cosmic processes.
We are all connected in the cosmos.
